1. Information We Collect

To provide reliable doorstep home repair services and appliance retail delivery, we collect the following types of information:

• Account & Contact Information: Full name, phone number, email address, and service delivery addresses.
• Location Data (Precise & Coarse): We collect your precise GPS location and address details to assign nearest certified technicians, calculate delivery distances, and navigate technicians to your doorstep.
• Device & Identifiers: Device model, OS version, Firebase FCM Tokens, and IP address for sending real-time push notifications and security authentication.
• Media & Camera Access: Optional access to your device camera or gallery when you choose to upload photos of broken appliances to obtain accurate repair cost estimates.
• Payment & Transaction Data: Transaction reference IDs, in-app service credit balance, and payment mode (UPI, Cards, Netbanking, COD). Note: We do NOT store credit card CVV numbers or banking passwords. All online transactions are securely handled by certified payment gateways (Razorpay).

2. Non-Financial Services Declaration

Bharath Fix is exclusively an on-demand home maintenance and appliance repair service marketplace. We do NOT provide banking services, loans, financial credit instruments, cryptocurrency wallets, money transfer, or regulated financial products. In-app service credits are solely internal reward/refund vouchers used to adjust service bookings.

• To schedule, dispatch, and fulfill doorstep appliance repair and installation bookings.
• To process bookings and issue automatic in-app service credit adjustments for cancelled service orders.
• To generate 4-digit security OTPs for job start and completion verification.
• To send booking confirmation SMS, WhatsApp alerts, and FCM push notifications.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activities.

4. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with essential service providers necessary for app operations:

• Google Firebase: Used for database management (Firestore), authentication, and push notifications.
• Razorpay Software Pvt Ltd: Used for PCI-DSS compliant payment processing.
• Assigned Technicians: Assigned technicians receive your name, phone number, and service address solely for completing your booked service request.

4. Data Retention & Security

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS / SSL) and Firestore security rules to protect your personal information. We retain your booking history and transaction data only for as long as required to comply with financial and legal obligations.
